Eduard Warkentin Art

Eduard Warkentin

I am an autodidact without any classical art education. I have been painting for more than 8 years now, working almost exclusively in oil. I live and work in Potsdam/Berlin, Germany.

My artistic journey began with the inspiration of Camille Pissarro's impressionistic depictions of the Boulevard Montmartre and the cityscapes of contemporary artist Jeremy Mann. To this day, urban motifs are my métier, I am attracted to depicting geometric forms of urbanity with color, which tends to spread organically over the painting surface. I also occasionally paint landscapes and, more recently, great moments in football.

Both my original artworks and prints are available for purchase. I am also open to commissions. Please feel free to contact me.
