In the 74th minute, Robben converted a corner from Franck Ribéry with a sensational volley. From around 20 metres, he shot the ball precisely into the bottom corner. The goal sealed Bayern's place in the semi-finals, as the match ended 3:2 in favour of Manchester United, but Bayern progressed thanks to the away goals rule. Robben's volley was technically outstanding and remains one of the most memorable goals of his career.
